We made The Melonade Spritz the drink of the summer

In May, we took on beautiful artisan melon aperitif, Melonade.

This elegant, superior quality drink makes the perfect base for a sweeter alternative to the classic spritz: The Melonade Spritz. The recipe calls for a combination of Melonade, prosecco and sparkling water, finished with a slice of orange or lemon.

We knew spritzes were popular in the UK: according to the CGA, summer sales of Aperol increased 52% when compared with the same period last year. Armed with this information, we set off to the press to introduce them to the most delicious spritz recipe they’d tried yet.

The response was incredible. The media and consumers alike were delighted with our laid-back version of the classic summer tipple, combined with fun, colourful branding to boot.

6cl of Prosecco (use Scavi & Ray Alcohol Free Prosecco to make it super low-alcohol)

4cl of Melonade

2cl of Sparkling Water

Garnish with a lemon or orange slice
