Feeling Melo at Imbibe Live

From 1^st-2^nd July, Melonade were at the infamous Imbibe Live. Since 2010, the exhibition has been drawing a key audience that shapes the UK on-trade, so of course Melonade had to be there. It made for a wonderfully successful two days serving up the delicious distilled drink as a prime example of the latest in summer aperitif and spritz trends.

There were three main serves on the menu. Firstly, Ben from The Shrub and Shutter bar made up the classic Melonade Spritz (prosecco, Melonade and soda, topped with fresh mint and an orange slice). There was also a Melonade Spritz with ginger soda and Thomas from GENUINE LIQUORETTE created a Melonade Mezcal cocktail.

Thousands of visitors attended the leading UK on-trade event this year at Olympia London. The Melonade stand was non-stop: everyone was intrigued to try the unmistakeably summery tipples in an attractive colourful setting. The stand really showcased the fun nature of the brand.

Melonade is an artisan melon aperitif inspired by the laid-back lifestyle of Southern France. It’s crafted from select melons grown in the Provencale town of Cavaillon, and still uses the original melon distillation developed by French monks.
