(“Sponsor”).

(“Promoter”) is responsible for

administrative aspects of the Contest (including technical support and prize management,

etc.) of behalf of the Sponsor.

These are the official rules (“Official Rules”) of the “BOILERMAKER CUP 2026” Contest presented
by Heaven Hill Brands (the “Contest”) and sponsored by Heaven Hill Sales Co. This Contest is open
to hospitality professionals, subject to the requirements and restrictions of these Official Rules and
applicable law.

By registering for or entering the Contest, you acknowledge and agree that Sponsor(s), Proof
Drinks, their affiliates, agents and assignees have full permission and authority to use, publish
and display perpetually and throughout the world: your name, voice, photograph or other
likeness, and biographic information, as well as your serve name, serve recipe, and/or
photographs or other imagery or depiction of your serve for advertising, marketing, publicity or
any other commercial or noncommercial purpose(s) whatsoever, including but not limited to
press, social media, digital media and/or activation, and any other promotional activation for
Heaven Hill without any obligation of payment to you.
By entering the Contest, you agree that you have read and consent to be bound by these Official
Rules and the Sponsor’s privacy policy available at Heaven Hill Brands.

CONTEST ELIGIBILITY:

° This competition (“Contest”) is open to all UK on-trade professionals including bartenders,
managers or owners across hospitality sectors that work in a venue that sells a minimum of
one (1) Heaven Hill Distillery Whiskey product from the following brands:
i) Evan Williams
ii) Elijah Craig
iii) Rittenhouse Rye
iv) Larceny
v) Mellow Corn
° Entrants (“Entrants”) must be aged 21 or over at the time of entry to be eligible to win the
Headline Prize of a Trip to Kentucky.
° All Winners must be a legal resident of the UK and legally entitled to enter the United States
of America at the time of entry and intended dates of travel.
° All Winners are required to hold reasonably adequate travel insurance.
° The following may not enter or win a prize: (a) employees of the Sponsor or the Promoter or
its agencies and their family members, or (b) anyone else who is directly or indirectly
professionally connected with the Contest or the Promoter and/or their family members.

LIMITATIONS / RESTRICTIONS ON ENTRY:

° One entry per person.
° Incomplete entries and entries that do not comply in full with these Official Rules will be
disqualified and will not be counted.

ENTRY PERIOD:

° The period for the Contest entry begins on 6th May at 12:01 AM
° Entry ends on 11:59 PM on Friday 29th May for the North Region Competition (“Entry Period”)
° Entry ends on 11:59 PM on Friday 29rd May for the South Region Competition (“Entry Period”)
° For purposes of these Official Rules all times are given in UK time.
° Regions for Entry are defined in the ‘HOW TO ENTER’ section below

HOW TO ENTER:

° There is one (1) way to enter:

1. Submit an original recipe for a Boilermaker Serve (“Serve”) following all the
Submission Requirements as defined below
2. Include an explanation of the inspiration for your thought process behind the Serve
3. You may submit a colour image (jpeg, png) of the Serve, but this is not a requirement to
entry
4. Video entries will not be excepted
5. Email your submission to your Regional Heaven Hill Distillery Ambassador. Regions are
defined by the County of the establishment where the Entrant works, and these are
defined below:

North Region:
Cheshire, County Durham, Cumbria, Derbyshire, Durham, Greater Manchester, Herefordshire,
Lancashire, Leicestershire, Lincolnshire, Merseyside, Northumberland, Nottinghamshire, Rutland,
Shropshire, Staffordshire, Tyne & Wear, Warwickshire, West Midlands, Worcestershire all regions
of Yorkshire and all regions of Scotland.

Somerset, Suffolk, Surrey, West Sussex, Wiltshire and all regions of Wales.

° For any queries relating to your region, please contact either Chris Smith or Tim Ward via
email.
° Following the deadline submission of Round 1, thirty-two (32) total participants (16
designated as North Region finalists and 16 designated as South Region finalists)
(“Finalists”) will be shortlisted to advance to the finals and will be notified on 5th June
2026 by email.
° Finalists will also be announced on social media.
° All Entrants will be notified if they have been successful or not.
° The sixteen (16) successful entrants from each Region will be required to attend a Live
Regional Final as outlined in the “Live Finals” section below
Each submission must align with these official rules and follow the Requirements (“Entry
Requirements”) (“Serve Requirements”) (“Submission Requirements”) below to be considered by
the judges:

ENTRY REQUIREMENTS:

° Each submission must be in English and must not have been previously submitted in any
other contest or published in any medium.
° Each submission must include your full name and contact information along with the
name and location (town/city) of your venue
° Each submission requires (i) an explanation of your Serve and (ii) an explanation of the
inspiration behind the Serve plus (iii) an original name for your Serve
° Submissions can include a full recipe, but this is not a requirement to entry

SERVE REQUIREMENTS:

° The serve must include one (1) Beer and one (1) Whiskey minimum
° The serve must include 25ml minimum, 35ml maximum of one (1) Heaven Hill Distillery
Whiskey
° The serve may be presented in any format

SUBMISSION REQUIREMENTS:

° Submissions must not allude to the overconsumption or irresponsible consumption of
beverage alcohol.° Submissions may not contain any ingredients which are dangerous, volatile, poisonous,
or otherwise unsafe for human consumption.
° The submission must be your own original work, created solely by you, may not be
created or modified by generative AI technologies, and must not infringe the copyright,
trademark, privacy, publicity or other personal or proprietary rights of any person or
entity.
° Any submission that fails to meet the Sponsor’s Submission Requirements may be
disqualified at any time in Sponsor’s sole and absolute discretion.
° Submissions that are lewd, obscene, sexually explicit, pornographic, disparaging,
defamatory, libelous, obscene, non-family-friendly, and/or submissions that otherwise
contain inappropriate content or objectionable material in the sole opinion of the
Sponsor may not be submitted and may be disqualified at any time in Sponsor’s sole and
absolute discretion.
° Submissions that contain any viruses, spyware, malware or other malicious components
that are designed to harm the functionality of a computer in any way may not be
submitted and may be disqualified at any time in Sponsor’s sole and absolute discretion.
° Submissions must not contain any images or personally identifiable information of any
person other than you. Should you include personally identifiable information about
yourself in your submission, you acknowledge and agree that such information will be
disclosed publicly, and you are solely responsible for any consequencesthereof.
° You may not be, nor may you work with parties in conjunction with your submissionwho
are: (1) represented under contract (e.g., by a talent agent or manager) that would limit
or impair Sponsor’s ability to display your submission in any media form; (2) under
eighteen (18) years of age; or (3) under any other contractual relationship, including but
not limited to guild and/or union memberships, that may prevent Sponsor from being
able to use the submission worldwide in all media in perpetuity on a royalty-free basis,
without any payment or feeobligations.
° Sponsor reserves the right in its sole and absolute discretion to disqualify any submission
it believes violates or potentially violates any of the foregoing requirements or otherwise
fails to comply with any provision of these Official Rules. The decisions of the Sponsor
on this and all matters pertaining to the Contest shall be final and binding.

Limit of one entry per person. Duplicate submissions for a single individual will be
disqualified.

FINALIST SELECTION AND NOTIFICATION:

JUDGING – ROUND 1:

° After the Entry Period has closed, valid Submissions will be reviewed and scored by
judges (“Judges”), based upon the scoring criteria set forth below:

Scoring:

1. “Boilermaker Concept” (100%)

° Finalists’ entries will be determined in the opinion and sole discretion of the judges.
° Sixteen (16) Finalists will be chosen from each of the North and South Regions to go on to
compete in Round 2, Regional Live Finals. There will be thirty-two (32) total Finalists
selected for Round 2.

Terms and Conditions for Finalists:

° DISCLAIMER – those who go through to Round 2 must present the exact same Serve as
Round 1. Failure to do so will result in immediate disqualification.
° Each finalist must be available to attend the Regional Live Final in person competition
location (identified below).
° Travel for Finalists living outside of Greater London (South Final) or Greater Manchester
(North Final) will be paid for by the Promoter, Proof Drinks. A representative of the
Promoter will contact you to organise the travel (mode of travel at the Promoter’s
absolute discretion). Promoter will pay for reasonable ground transportation or economy
class airfare at Promoter’s sole discretion.
° Accommodation, travel insurance and all other expenses, including meals and beverages,
will not be included and will be the sole responsibility of each Finalist.
° Identification cards and all other documentation required for Finalist to travel are sole
responsibility of Finalist.
° Proof of age, identity and eligibility may be required in order to progress to the Regional
Live Final (as defined below).

JUDGING REGIONAL LIVE FINALS – ROUND 2:

° The chosen 16 Finalists (“Finalists”) from each Region (32 total) will appear at a Regional
Live Boilermaker Challenge Final (“Final”) in either London or Manchester. Details are
outlined below:

North Final

° You must present and prepare for judging the same Serve as Round 1. Failure to do so will
result in immediate disqualification.
° Your event arrival time will be confirmed by your Regional Ambassador five (5) days
before the Final.
° You will need to bring all the ingredients, glassware and equipment to make two (2)
identical drinks at the event – one for the judging purposes and one for photography
purposes.
° Standard ice can be provided. If you require special ice, please make your own provision
for this. ALL OTHER INGREDIENTS, GLASSWARE, AND EQUIPMENT ARE THE SOLE
RESPONSIBILTY OF EACH FINALIST.
° You will have five (5) minutes total to make 2 drinks, explain your concept and ingredients
and present them to the Judges. During the Finals, the Judges will review the Entries
which will be scored based upon the scoring criteria (“Scoring”) set forth below:

Scoring:

1. “TASTE” – Balance, flavour, aroma, and character of serve (40%)
2. “BOILERMAKER CONCEPT” – The inspiration behind your serve (20%)
3. “PRESENTATION” – How well you present your serve to the judges (20%)
4. “CREATIVITY” – Creativity behind your serve (10%)
5. “APPEARANCE” – Appearance and presentation of serve (10%)

In the event of a tie between two or more submissions, the submission with the highest
score in the Judge’s sole opinion inthe “Taste” category shall be declared to be the
winner.

WINNER SELECTION AND NOTIFICATION:

° There will be one (1) winner from the North Final and one (1) from the South Final.
° The overall Winners will be announced on the night of each Final.
° Promoter’s and Judges’ decisions are final and binding in all respects on all entrants and
no correspondence will be entered into with respect to such decisions.

JUDGES – ROUND 1

° Valid Submissions will be reviewed and scored by the following Sponsor judges
(“Judges”):
× Heaven Hill’s European Brand Educator & Ambassador, Benji Purslow
× Heaven Hill’s UK Brand Ambassador (South), Chris Smith
× Heaven Hill’s UK Brand Ambassador (North), Tim Ward

JUDGES – ROUND 2 LIVE FINALS

° The Live Regional Final Judges will be:
× Heaven Hill’s UK Brand Ambassador (South), Chris Smith for the North Final
× Heaven Hill’s UK Brand Ambassador (North), Tim Ward for the South Final
× Heaven Hill’s Senior International Marketing Manager, Jemma Degville-Hayes for both
Finals
× Co-creator of the Heaven Hill Distillery Boilermaker Cup, Sam Mosley for both Finals.

THE ODDS OF WINNING WILL DEPEND ON THE JUDGED CRITERIA AND
QUALITY OF THE SUBMISSIONS SUBMITTED. THIS IS A CONTEST, NOT A GAME
OF CHANCE.

PRIZES:

° The prizes awarded will be:
° “Headline Prize”: one (1) headline prize of a trip to Kentucky, USA for the Winner only (no
guests) of each Regional Final (Two (2) Headline Prize winners total).
° “Second Place Prize”: one (1) second place prize of a Heaven Hill Distillery Limited Release
Whiskey and selection of brand merchandise (each at Sponsor’s sole discretion) at each
Regional Final; two (2) total Second Place Prizes.
° “Third Place Prize”: one (1) third place prize of a Heaven Hill Distillery Limited Release
Whiskey and selection of brand merchandise (each at Sponsor’s sole discretion) at each
Regional Final; two (2) total Third Place Prizes.
° Collectively, the prizes identified above are referred to as “Prizes.”

Headline Prize Terms and Conditions:

° Prize of a Trip to Kentucky:

  •  Each Headline Prize Winner must be aged 21 or over. Sponsor and Promoter
    reserve the right to disqualify any headline prize winner who fails to provide valid
    identification to confirm age at time of winning. In such event, Sponsor and
    Promoter reserve the right to award the Headline Prize to the Second-Place finisher
    in the particular region with the highest total score based on the scoring criteria
    above. Sponsor and Promoter bear no liability to any disqualified winner with
    respect to such decision.
  • Winners must sign an Affidavit of Eligibility and a Liability/Publicity Release
    provided by Sponsor.
  • The prize includes round-trip economy airfare for each Winner to a Kentucky airport
    from a UK airport suitable in the opinion of the Promoter, one (1) single occupancy
    hotel accommodation for up to five (5) nights (room and tax only) and ground
    transportation (hotel transfers) in Kentucky. Hotel accommodation selected by
    Promoter at its sole discretion.
  • The trip will include entry to the Heaven Hill Bourbon Experience in Bardstown and
    the Evan Williams Bourbon Experience in Louisville, each person.
  • Some other costs and expenses, such as food and drink and other entertainment,
    may be paid for at the Promoter’s sole discretion, but in no circumstances is
    Promoter responsible for covering Winners expenses for food, drink, incidentals,
    and entertainment which are the sole responsibility of Winner.
  • Other costs, such as visas, travel insurance, transfer to a UK departure airport,
    taxes, luggage fees, gratuities, excursion fees, food and drink, and any other
    incidental costs or other expenses associated with Winners’ trip to Kentucky and
    not specifically set forth herein, are not included and are the responsibility of each
    Winner.
  • It is the Winners’ responsibility to ensure they have valid passports, visas, travel
    documents, vaccinations and any other pre-conditions of entry to the USA in order
    to be able to take up the prize. Winners’ failure to secure such items will result in
    forfeiture of the prize by the Winner.
  • The prize does not guarantee entry to the USA.
  • Headline Prize Winners must abide by all applicable terms and conditions issued by
    any travel and/or lodging provider. Sponsor and Promoter shall bear no
    responsibility or liability for any Headline Prize Winner’s failure to comply with any
    such terms, conditions, or requirements.
  • The prize trip must be taken on the dates organised by the Promoter (which will
    take place during 2026). The exact dates of the prize are to be confirmed.
  • Rearranging the dates due to the Winners’ being unavailable for any reason will not
    be possible.

o Approximate Retail Value of the Headline Prize is £3,750.

o Approximate Retail Value of the Second Place Prize is £660.

o Approximate Retail Value of the Third Place Prize is £250.

  • The Promoter reserves the right to substitute the prizes (or any part thereof) for a prize or
    prizes of equivalent or greater monetary value if this is necessary for reasons beyond its
    reasonable control. There is no cash alternative to the prizes (or any part thereof) and
    unless the Promoter agrees otherwise in writing the prizes are non-refundable and non-transferable.
  • Winners’ list will be available for one month after the closing date by writing to the
    Promoter, “Proof Drinks” at the contact details above and stating the name of the Contest.

CONDITIONS OF PARTICIPATION:

° Prize is not transferable. Taxes on Prize are sole responsibility of winner. No Prize
substitutions or cash redemptions allowed, except by Promoter, who may substitute a Prize
of equal or greater value if advertised Prize becomes unavailable. Promoter shall not be
held responsible for any delays in awarding the Prize or any component thereof for any
reason. Entry into this Contest constitutes Entrant’s agreement to be bound by the terms
of these Terms and Conditions and by the decisions of Promoter, which are final and
binding on all matters pertaining to this Contest.??Potential Prize winners will be required
to sign and return an Affidavit of Eligibility/Liability & Publicity Release before receiving any
prize. Failure to comply will result in disqualification and selection of an alternate winner.?In
the event that the potential winner is found ineligible or does not comply with these Terms
and Conditions, the Prize may, in the Promoter’s sole and absolute discretion, be forfeited
and awarded to an alternate winner. If the confirmed winner forfeits the Prize for any
reason after confirmation, no alternate winner will be selected. Failure by the Promoter to
enforce any provision of these Terms and Conditions shall not constitute a waiver of that
provision. Each potential Winner may be subject to a background check on entry criteria
before the prize is awarded. Promoter reserves the right to disqualify a potential Winner
based on the results of such background check if Promoter determines in its sole discretion
that awarding the Prize to any such individual might reflect negatively on the Promoter. By
accepting Prize, each Entrant and Winner agrees to allow Promoter the right to use his/her
name, photo and likeness, voice recording, video images and all related footage, and
statements for Contest, trade, commercial, advertising and publicity purposes, at any time
or times, in all media now known or hereafter discovered worldwide including but not
limited to television (including live television), radio, Internet, without notice, review or
approval and without additional compensation except where prohibited by law. The
Entrants and Winners agree to take part in reasonable publicity and public relations
activities in connection with the Contest until December 31st 2027 with no additional
compensation.

RELEASE:

° By participating in the Contest, Entrants and Winners agree to release Sponsor, Promoter,
participating vendors (if any), and each of their respective parent companies, subsidiaries,
affiliates, related companies and advertising, Contest and public relations agencies, and
each of their respective officers, directors, employees and agents (“Released Parties”) from
any and all liability, loss or damage of any kind arising out of or in connection with their
participation in this Contest or with respect to awarding, receipt, possession, use and/or
misuse of any Prize. An Entrant and/or Winner may be prohibited from participating in this
Contest if, in Promoter’s sole discretion, it reasonably believes that the Entrant and/or
Winner has attempted to undermine the legitimate operation of this Contest by cheating,
deception, or other unfair playing practices or annoys, abuses, threatens or harasses any
other Entrants, Winners, Released Parties, or associated agencies or entities. The Winners
should be in good health and appropriately fit for travel, and Winners irrevocably release
and waive any claim they may have against the Promoter for any safety or health issue or
problem they may have during travel.

WARRANTY AND INDEMNITY:

Each Entrant represents and warrants that at the time of submission, their submission is
original, that they are the sole and exclusive owner and right holder of the of the content
submitted, or that they otherwise possess all rights, licenses, and/or permits necessary to submit
the submission, and any content contained therein, in the Contest. ?Each entrant further
represents and warrants that: (a) the Prize is granted to the Winner individually based upon their
performance in the Contest and no Prize (in whole or in part) shall be passed along for the
benefit of any retail licensee or other alcohol industry member; and (b) their submission does
not (1) infringe any third-party proprietary, intellectual property, industrial property, personal
rights or other rights, including without limitation, copyright, trademark, patent, trade secret or
confidentiality obligation; (2) include any personally identifiable information of any person other
than entrant; or (3) otherwise violate any applicable law.?To the maximum extent permitted by
law, each entrant indemnifies and agrees to keep indemnified the Released Parties at all times
from and against any liability, actions, claims, demands, losses, damages, costs and expenses for
or in respect of which the Released Parties may become liable by reason of or related or
incidental to any act, default or omission by an entrant under these Official Rules including
without limitation resulting from or in relation to any breach, non-observance, act or
omission, whether negligent or otherwise, of these Official Rules by an entrant.

ELIMINATION:

° Any false information provided within the context of the Contest by any Entrant or Winner
including without limitation: identity, data submitted, noncompliance with these Terms
and Conditions, may result in the immediate elimination of the Entrant and any Winner
from the Contest. If the Promoter has grounds to suspect any Entrant or third party of
cheating, deception or fraudulent or unsportsmanlike conduct of any kind (including,
without limitation, manipulating the Contest, choice of prize Winner(s) or any entry, the
Promoter reserves the right (in its sole discretion) to disqualify any entrant, entry or person
it reasonably believes to be responsible for, or associated with, such activity.
° The Promoter expressly reserves the right to disallow or disqualify (or prevent from passing
through the judging stage) any entry which it considers at its sole discretion:
o does not meet normal standards of taste and decency; or
o is likely to result in detriment to the brands or reputation of the Promoter.

INTELLECTUAL PROPERTY:
By submitting a submission, an Entrant agrees all intellectual property rights to the submission
will become the sole and exclusive property of Sponsor immediately upon submission by the
entrant. As a condition of submission, Entrant further agrees that Sponsor (or Proof Drinks,
acting on Sponsor’s instructions) shall have the right to use, copy, modify and make available the
submission in connection with the operation, conduct, administration, and advertising and
promotion of the Contest via communication to the public, including, but not limited to the right
to make copies, screenshots, derivative works, animations, photographs, drawings or other
depictions, and/or video clips publicly available for promotional and publicity
purposes. Furthermore, by participating in the Contest and/or accepting the Prize each entrant
grants (and agrees to confirm that grant in writing) to Sponsor, Proof Drinks and/or Sponsor’s
designees the perpetual, worldwide, irrevocable, royalty-free right to use his/her name,
biographical information, photos and/or likeness, and statements, as well as the cocktail name,
cocktail recipe, and/or a photograph or other image or depiction of the cocktail, for any and all
promotion, trade, marketing, commercial, non-commercial, advertising, and/or publicity
purposes, at any time or times, in all media now known or hereafter discovered without notice,
review or approval and without compensation or any kind to entrant, except where otherwise
prohibited by law.

WAIVER:

° Entrants and Winners hereby waive all rights to: (i) claim punitive, exemplary, special,
incidental, indirect and consequential damages and any other damages (whether due to
negligence or otherwise), other than for actual out-of-pocket costs; and (ii) have damages
multiplied or otherwise increased.

LIMIT OF LIABILITY:

° Promoter is not responsible for electronic transmission errors resulting in omission,
interruption, deletion, defect, delay in operations or transmission, theft or destruction or
unauthorized access to or alterations of entry materials, or for technical, network,
telephone equipment, electronic computer, hardware or software malfunctions or
limitations of any kind, or inaccurate transmissions of or failure to receive entry
information by Promoter on account of technical problems or traffic congestion via mobile
phone or otherwise. If, for any reason, the Contest is not capable of running as planned,
including postponement, cancellation, changes to Prize, infection by computer virus, bugs,
tampering, unauthorized intervention, fraud, technical failures, act of God, or any other
causes which corrupt or otherwise affect the administration, security, fairness, integrity, or
proper conduct of this Contest, Promoter reserves the right at its sole discretion to cancel,
terminate, modify or suspend the Contest or any?portion thereof at any time, and for any
reason without further obligation or advance notice. . Promoter further reserves the right
to disqualify any individual who tampers with the entry process or the operation of the
Contest or acts in violation of these Terms and Conditions or in a manner determined at
Promoter’s sole discretion to be unfair, unsportsmanlike, disruptive, or in any way
damaging to Promoter’s business interests.
° References to the “Promoter” in this Liability section include all Released Parties.
° The Promoter cannot accept any responsibility for any damage, loss, death or injury
suffered by any entrant entering the Contest or as a result of accepting any prize.

ENGLISH LAW APPLIES:

° This Contest, and any dispute or claim arising out of or in connection with it (including the
prizes), shall be governed by and construed in accordance with English law and Entrants
and Winners irrevocably agree that the courts of England and Wales shall have exclusive
jurisdiction to settle any such dispute or claim.

SEVERABILITY:

° If any provision(s) of these Terms and Conditions are held to be invalid or unenforceable,
